Kabbalah Centre Charitable Causes provides humanitarian aid to people in need in partnership with other non-profit organizations. Help us bring life-saving food supplies to South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
$54,406 of $150,000 raised
South Sudan, the world’s youngest country, gained its independence from Sudan in 2011, but quickly descended into civil war in December 2013. As the conflict has progressed and a man-made famine has spread across the country, tens of thousands have been killed and more than one million people — roughly nine percent of South Sudan’s population — have fled into neighboring countries.
To help address this urgent situation of human suffering, Kabbalah Centre Charitable Causes has partnered with iAID – a non-profit, non-governmental organization – to bring life-saving food supplies to South Sudanese refugees who have fled to Gulu, Uganda. For over 15 years, iAID has provided life-saving disaster relief and long term support for people around the world to overcome extreme crises.
